About the Designer

Twisting vintage ideas for modern women are the key inspiration for the Los Angeles based line MYNE. Designed by L.A. native Ashley Ann, MYNE perfectly balances sophistication with ease that speaks to today's women with a collection that focuses on fit rather than trends and creating pieces that last.

Ashley Ann has a great eye for detail, including shearing, pleating and layering, and has had an interest in fashion and design since her early teens. Before launching MYNE in 2007, Ashley was an on-set wardrobe stylist at Warner Bros, pulling together outfits for films, including The Last Samurai, for which she dressed 300 extras in military regalia.

MYNE is a far cry from The Last Samurai; it's a clever line that offers well-crafted dresses, tops and skirts in silhouettes that are simple yet feminine. Silk, chiffon and light wools are skillfully used to contrast shiny and matte, while bold prints and rich colours add depth and whimsy to each piece - all of which flawlessly combine fashion and function.

MYNE has become a favourite of local fashionistas, celebrities and the media alike; Rachel Bilson, Kristen Cavallari, the Kardashian sisters and Vanessa Hudgens are just some of the few that are often seen sporting key pieces, which are also regularly featured in the US editions of InStyle, Lucky, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and US Weekly.
